Cpt. Caveman's TTM Autographs #156

Welcome back for another weekly TTM success post. As you probably noticed by the bonus in person graphing posts I've been out most of the week graphing the PGA Tour Greenbrier Classic and I've been having a wonderful time. The crowds aren't as bad this year so competition for fresh ink hasn't been to bad. TTM collecting is fun and great but nothing beats actually getting to meet the celebs and athletes up close and personal and getting them to sign stuff. For the most part all the people out graphing have been great. I've seen a few friends out graphing that I only get to see a few times a year at these events and I've made a few new graphing friends this year. I have noticed a few dealers out this week sending kids out to get autographs while the dealers hang back getting proof photos from a distance but even they have been relaxed and not causing any problems. One women about blew it for everyone else by yelling "Hey Bubba" over and over and over again while he was talking to someone when everyone else was patently waiting for him to finish talking so he could come over to sign and he did get a little aggravated with her and raised his voice a little but he did eventually come over and sign. All in all its been a fun week wearing out sharpies and I hate to see it come to an end after Sundays final round. I can't wait to see who actually wins the tournament this year and hopefully it's someone I was able to graph already as I have been lucky enough to get all the previous Greenbrier Classic winners autographs over the years. The fans have  been amazing with no one shoving or pushing and just lining up and patently waiting for the players to sign. The players have been amazing at signing and only Phil Mickelson made people wait for him to finish play before he'd sign but this is the norm for Mickelson but when he's done he makes sure he signs for everyone wanting him or stops to take pictures. He's really a nice guy and usually draws a huge crowd. Now that actual tournament play is going on all the players are doing this and making people wait until they finish playing for the day before signing but that's to be expected. It's all business during official play day's but most are great about signing after they turn in score cards. I've always loved golf and used to caddy at the Greenbrier Resort as a kid so it's so much fun seeing some of my heroes out on the course. So if you ever get the opportunity to hit a PGA Tour event I highly recommend it and if you're ever around West Virginia the week of July 4th you should check out the Greenbrier Classic / A Tribute to the Military you won't be disappointed. You get right up in the action and crowds aren't bad like other major events like the Masters making it the perfect event for getting autographs. Anyways it was a slow no mail week for us so unfortunately that's it for this week. Have a great graphing weekend and I'll be back next week with more TTM autographs and address's and don't forget to check the Cpt. Caveman's TTM Autographs Facebook page or my Twitter Monday for details on how to enter the autograph giveaway contest to celebrate the three year anniversary of Cpt. Caveman's TTM Autographs.
