Cpt. Caveman's TTM Autographs Friday Favorites

Since I'm rereading Steven King's "IT" before the new film is released later this year this week it's a few of my favorite authors. Cpt. Caveman's TTM Autographs Bonus Post Graphing the PGA Greenbrier Classic Part 5

Welcome back to another bonus in person graphing post. I headed back to the Greenbrier Classic Sunday for the final round. I headed over a little early because I didn't want to miss Bubba Watson when he finished up since he was one of the first to tee off that morning. On the way to the tournament the charter bus that I was on had a tire blowout shortly after leaving the parking area. So we all had to wait for another bus to come and pick us all up. Luckily it didn't put me to behind and I got to the clubhouse just as Bubba was finishing up. He came over and signed down the line then headed inside. After that and while waiting on Phil Mickelson to finish up I got a few golfers to sign cards and had the current West Virginia governor and Greenbrier resort owner Jim Justice sign a hat. When Mickelson finished up he went in to turn in his score card then came back out and signed for almost all the huge crowd of people wanting his autograph and I got my picture signed. I was hoping to run into Jerry West again but I didn't see him all day. While waiting on Jerry Lee Trevino came out and didn't want to sign for the two people asking but I was persistent and he finally signed my ticket while cussing at me the entire time lol. After that I watched a few more players finish up then headed home. It's been a fun and great graphing week and i can't wait until next years Greenbrier Classic. Cpt. Caveman's TTM Autographs Bonus Post Graphing the PGA Greenbrier Classic Part 4

Welcome back to another in person graphing bonus post. I headed back to the PGA Greenbrier Classic Saturday for round 3. Today my main mission was to get Phil Mickelson since I've missed him all week and didn't want it to come down to the last day and then miss him. So I arrived early and got my usual spot by the club house. Luckily not many people were out graphing when I arrived just one other collector and two pro graphers, one with two young boys getting autographs for him. As soon as I got my stuff ready Lee Trevino comes out and just refuses to sign for the 3 people standing there and gives everyone the I signed for you yesterday look and went on his way. Then Jerry West came out and signed for us. I got him to sign my picture and then when he left he came over and signed again, Super nice guy. After that it was about time for Mickelson to finish up and I didn't want to miss him so I headed over and got a good spot along the rail. Mickelson finished up and came over and said he'd come back out to sign after he turned in his score card and he did. He drew a big crowd and signed for just about everyone and I got him on a nice 8x10. My next target was Bubba Watson and I still had a few hours till he finished up so I hung out and got a few more autographs while waiting on him. When Bubba finished up he wasn't to happy because he wasn't playing to well today and walked right past the huge crowd waiting for him. Luckily this thinned the crowd down because they thought he wouldn't sign but after about 20 minutes he came back out and signed for the ones still waiting. I added him to my 8x10 with Phil and then called it a day. I'll be headed back for the final round tomorrow so watch for the another bonus post and enjoy a few pictures and my autographs from today's Greenbrier Classic.

Cpt. Caveman's TTM Autographs #104

Welcome back to another weekly TTM success post. We've been having a great time at the PGA Tour Greenbrier Classic all week. We don't get alot of in person graphing opportunities here so we enjoy the ones we do get. It's been a pretty laid back week for the autograph hunters. Mostly it's been fans and collectors out graphing. We did run into a few "Professional" graphers with teams of people and bags full of multiple's to get signed but even they seamed laid back. We didn't see any shoving or pushing going on and everyone was polite and gladly took whatever ink they got. It's been a pretty good week for us and I'll be going back tomorrow for the last round of the tournament to see who wins this year and maby try for a few more autographs. So enough about our in person graphing fun and on to this weeks TTM successes. Monday brought a super cool via venue return from Jean Claude Van Damme who signed both our pictures after only three months. We wrote to him while he was filming "Jean-Claude Van Johnson" and really didn't expect anything to return. Friday brought a great return from Bill Byrge after just under one month. He signed our DVD cover and 4x6 and he also sent three other signed pictures and a lovely handwritten letter thanking us and telling us about his work with Jim Varney. Saturday brought two more returns. First after only three weeks we received both pictures back signed by Victoria Racimo. She signed the Ernest Goes to Camp poster picture on the back for some reason. To finish off the week and after just two weeks we received an autopen return from Dustin Hoffman. I was pretty sure that's what would return but I've been seeing other returns and people swearing they are authentic. Unfortunately they're not so don't waste time or stamps unless you just really want his autopenned signature. That's it for this week. Cpt. Caveman's TTM Autographs Bonus Post Graphing the PGA Greenbrier Classic Part 3

Welcome back to another bonus In Person graphing post. I took the day off Thursday because the weather wasn't looking to good but headed back Friday for another day at the Greenbrier Classic. After walking around a bit to kill time and wait on some players to finish up for the day I headed back to the 18th green and watched some of them finish their rounds. Then I headed back up to the clubhouse directly above the green and met up with a few local graphers I knew who were waiting on Phil Mickelson because he'd just finished up and said he would come out and sign after he turned in his score card. Since I still needed to get Mickelson i figured I'd wait to. Then we waited and waited lol. No Phil unfortunately, him and Bubba Watson went out the front exit and signed there. It wasn't a total loss because I still got a few golfers I hadn't gotten yet and then Lee Trevino came out and wasn't to keen on signing but he finally did after complaining and tossing out the big chocolate chip cookie he was eating then he took off with my last black sharpie. Nick Faldo came out of the booth for a minute and several of us got him to sign. The highlight of the day was when basketball legend and native West Virginian Jerry West showed up and signed for the hand full of people still waiting for autographs after Mickelson left. So not many autographs today only seven but I was only after a select few today so I'm still happy and getting to meet Jerry West just topped the day off so after that I headed home. Ill be going back tomorrow and for the final round Sunday so watch for more in person bonus posts. So until then enjoy a few pictures and my autographs from today's Greenbrier Classic.
