Cpt. Caveman's TTM Autographs #65

-
Welcome back for another weekly TTM success post. I hope everyone had a great graphing week. I'm sure by now most of you seasoned collectors have heard about the big changes over at PSA/DNA one of the major third party authentication (TPA) companies but for those that haven't heard the news. Two of the companies main authenticators Steve Grad and Brian Sobrero have left the company. Possibly to start another autograph related company or possibly due to the recent legal cases involving Mr. Grad. Both Sobrero and Grad who was PSA's principle authenticator and who can also be seen authenticating autographs on the History Channels "Pawn Stars". Both claimed to have a wide range of expertise. PSA has replaced them by hiring two long time dealers / authenticators Kevin Keating and Bill Corcoran who are both well known dealers but there field of expertise mainly lies in sports. This might be great for the sports collectors out there but as most already know PSA is not always the best choice when it comes to authenticating modern celebs and only time will tell how these changes will effect the hobby and the company. Anyways now on to this weeks successes. Monday brought an amazing return from one of my all time favorite Quarterbacks Joe Montana. After only twelve days we received both pictures back signed from the HOF 49er. Tuesday brought a return from actress Jenny Agutter. I love "Logans Run" another favorite of mine so a great return and it only took her just under two months to reply. Friday brought two more returns. First after four and a half months we received both pictures back signed by Stephen Furst. To finish off the day Winter received her picture back signed from Henry Winkler. She loved him in "The Water Boy" and she's super happy with this return and it took just under four months for it to come back. Saturday brought one last return for this week. I'm not sure when or where because its been several years when Winter sent these back before I kept records. She sent two pictures to paranormal investigator Lorraine Warren. Her and her husbands work was portrayed in "The Conjuring" films. We had forgotten and given up on this one but she signed one picture but unfortunately it returned badly smudged and almost unreadable. I hate smudged autographs. IV tried printing non glossy pictures but if the celebs dont give them a second to dry they come back smudged or sometimes they use a bad marker or cheap sharpie to sign and then they smudge. Oh well it happens. I guess we need to start sending one picture and one index card that way if the picture gets smudged the index card will still have a good autograph That's it for this week. Have a great graphing weekend and I'll be back next week with more TTM autographs and tested addresses.
