Welcome back for another weekly TTM success post. Unfortunately it looks like Bryan Cranston has joined the growing number of celebs that have stopped signing TTM. He posted a picture of him with a big double stack of autograph requests he received at the venue he's currently performing at. In his post he stated that after 18 years of signing anything and everything he is just getting overwhelmed and can't continue. He also stated if you're lucky enough to see him in person he will still happily sign and personalize books, photos and playbills from his shows and take pictures with fans but he will no longer sign merchandise, clothing, DVDs or any other items that can be sold like blanks. Sadly more and more celebs are doing this. In my opinion it's due to people abusing the system by sending large numbers of items to get signed or by writing multiple times and I'm not talking about writing then waiting a year or two then retrying but writing every few weeks or so just to get more autographs. Another problem I'm seeing is ungrateful collectors getting a return then rewriting because the celeb didn't sign in the proper spot or didn't add an inscription that was requested. If you're requesting an autograph from someone TTM and not paying a signing fee then please just be happy you got a return in the first place because this is turning some celebs off signing. I love this hobby and hate to seeing people abuse the system. That's one reason I stopped sharing private address's. Its becoming less and less about collecting the signatures of our heroes and idols and more about making money. So please respect the celebs and don't ruin it for the fans. Now on to this weeks TTM successes. Monday brought a return from Khary Payton who signed our Walking Dead picture and took just under six months to return. Thursday brought a super cool return when we received both pictures back signed by Les Claypool after only two weeks and he also sent us a sticker from his new soda. That's all for this week.
