Welcome back for another weekly TTM success post. I hope all you TTMers on the east coast and especially anyone in the Carolinas made it through hurricane Florence without any major damage or losses. So how do you feel about using a celebs or athletes private home address when sending a TTM autograph request? I personally prefer to use a talent agency or management address when a working address is available but sometimes sending to a home address is the only option. I understand some celebs may not like people knowing their personal and private home address's or getting tons of fan mail and autograph requests piling up with their regular mail that's making the poor postal worker who delivers them and is trying to keep up with all of the autograph requests and fans letters being sent causing them to snap and start dumping all their mail to be delivered into a secluded area in the woods somewhere lol. Some celebs avoid this situation by using a P.O. Box address for fan mail and others just refuse any fan mail sent to their home address. Unfortunately you just never know how a celeb will respond to fan mail sent to a home address. Some won't mind while others will just automatically trash your letters or simply send it by with a dreaded RTS stamped across the envelope. Some don't mind and others might reply but ask how you got ahold of the address and ask that you please don't share it. Like I said I'd rather use a management address but when the only option that's available is a home address sometimes you just have to try. Alot will still respond but it's never a garunteed success and then when it is and the address gets put out there it gets flooded with so many requests in a short period of time that they either stop accepting unsolicited mail or in extreme cases it turns them off signing all together. Sometimes private address's are our only options and as long as we don't abuse them or over share others will have the opportunity to try using them but when other options are available I try those first and try private ones as a last resort. Anyways let's get on to this week's TTM successes. Monday brought an autopenned return from Mel Gibson after ten months. Wednesday brought two returns. First we received a cool return when both our pictures came back signed by Erik Estrada after only a month and a half. To finish off our day and week we received both pictures we sent via venue to Jon Cryer back signed after just under five months. That's all for this week.
